SESSION 3 - 

Argus caught up to us and said that Princes Caine and Julian were in a hospital basement sedated. I don’t know how he knew that but he said he was sure. It must have been something that he did with one of his pattern powers or something. Everyone suggested elaborate plans to get into the basement, which I just thought was a waste of time because we all knew it was a trap anyway.

On the way there we got ambushed by a small troop of demons and some snipers. They even brought in some military looking flying contraption that shot at us, but I grabbed it with the Logrus and took it down. At this point sneaking in wasn’t an option so I busted into the hospital and we rushed downstairs and found the princes unconscious with Caine stabbed in the stomach with a note pinned.

We awoke the princes and returned to Amber, I brought Prince Caine’s things that we found after he left and so I had a page put them in his room with a note from me. Maybe I can get him to do me a favor later since it looked like some of his things were fairly important.

There was a state dinner that night because Prince Eric (apparently back from the dead) wanted to present a new found daughter to court. During the dinner it looked like multiple people had some concern about this Prince Eric, there could be some problems with who should have the crown. I plan on keeping an eye out for any potential problems and make the best of them.

I also made a new friend. His is Steven and he is a member of the royal guard. He’s smart and talented, incredibly handsome and muscle-y. He wants to eventually become a captain in the guard, he’s still fairly new but they seem to think he has great potential. He is also amazing in bed.

SESSION 2 –

The day started out with my normal morning routine: get up early, work out in the practice yards, and then eat a hearty breakfast. However after eating a wonderful breakfast (that’s one thing I can say for the cooks here, they are very very good) we rode out of Amber to get to a point where one of the Amberites could shadow walk us to Rebma. (The king had asked us to see if the same rift things were happening there). We had to ride for several hours until we came to Forest Arden which is apparently where Amberites can start working with the shadows (any closer to Amber and it doesn’t work well Argus said).

As we entered the forest we saw evidence that the earthquake from yesterday had reached at least this far if not farther. We found two corpses with acid burns and claw gashes, so there were more of black rift creatures running around somewhere. We followed the tracks and found two of the beasts and the rift. I killed one of them, and then fought a knight in black armor that had climbed out of the rift. He was very strong, and a good fighter at one point he almost strangled me.  But Kuru shot his arm so I was able to pry his fingers away, and he disappeared through the rift.

We went back to the castle to let King Random know and then he said that it turns out Rebma is fine, so instead of going there he asked us to find his son Martin and his brothers Caine and Julian. We ended up in Shadow Earth where they were last seen, and found the hotel room they had been staying in but they weren’t there.

Mikayla’s dragon is rather cheeky, he insulted me and I would have just killed him instantly, but I know that she really likes him for some reason so I decided to be nice. All I did was teach him a little lesson so he would know that you can’t insult a Lady of Chaos. Of course Jarrin heard the insult and taught him a lesson as well. Mikayla got all angry, although I really don’t know why. She should be happy, her dragon is not dead like he would be under normal circumstances.

SESSION 1-
Amber is very different from home, I’m not sure if I like it. I mean, it’s beautiful but everything is so neat and orderly. I guess it will just take some getting used to. Jarrin and I, along with the rest of our delegation presented ourselves to the King of Amber. He then asked for some of the younger Amberites to show us around. They were definitely an interesting group…

Argus is the son of Floramel and he grew up in Amber. He seemed to care quite a bit about his clothes. When some wine got spilled on his pants, he freaked out. Mikayla is the daughter of Bleys, and she had a creative style. Cyris claims to be of Amber but no one knows who his parent is. Apparently he was the cause of some big fuss when he first got to Amber. It will be interesting to see who his parent is. Kuru was the last member of the group. She seemed fairly young and really the only way to describe her is…unique. The way she dresses makes it look like she’s from Chaos, but apparently she is the daughter of Julian. It was an unusual collection of people.

While we were all getting to know each other there was a sudden earthquake and huge fissures appeared in the wall of the castle. A huge black leathery creature 10 feet tall came out of the fissure…it was so strong. I stabbed it with about three feet of steal before it threw me across the hallway and into the wall, dislocating my shoulder.  It took all of us to take it and one of it’s friends down that followed it out.

Mikayla is very strong but rather silly. She threw herself on the creature multiple times even though she knew it spewed acid. Kuru seems to be a quite effective warrior, although not as good me. I would like to duel her sometime soon and see what techniques she uses.

All-in-all, it was a good day.
